「美國自由兒童」（USA Freedom Kids）是由穿著紅藍白美國國旗顏色服裝的小女孩組成的團體。今年1月，她們在川普（Donald Trump）佛羅里達州的選舉造勢場合上，演出力挺川普的多首自創歌曲，歌詞內容包括「川普總統知道如何讓美國變得更好」，成為媒體報導焦點。
不過，這個團體當中1名成員的父親，同時也是演出歌曲原創者的波皮克（Jeff Popick），本週稍早接受「華盛頓郵報」（Washington Post）專訪時卻表示，由於川普競選團隊違背了與「美國自由兒童」當初達成的協議，他打算近期之內向法院提告，希望討回公道。
波皮克表示，川普陣營與「美國自由兒童」團體之間，雖然沒有任何書面協議，但包括競選總幹事李萬度斯基（Corey Lewandowski）在內等多名負責人士，都曾予「美國自由兒童」有關演出事項的口頭承諾。
波皮克指出，根據當時的雙方聯繫結果，「美國自由兒童」同意將在佛羅里達州為川普造勢場合演出兩次。他表示，後來第1場演出因故無法成行，因此在第2場演出之前，他要求川普陣營必須支付2500美元酬勞，但川普陣營則提議，希望以在造勢場合設立攤位讓「美國自由兒童」兜售專輯的方式，取代支付酬勞。
他表示，當時確實答應了川普陣營的建議，不料等到演出當天，現場一片混亂，講好要讓「美國自由兒童」兜售專輯的攤位，根本不見蹤影。
為了討回演出成本以及機票、旅館以及租車等相關費用，波皮克表示，演出之後他不斷透過電話、電郵等方式，與川普陣營交涉，卻處處碰壁。最後與律師討論之下，認為有告贏的勝算，因此計畫在未來幾週之內提告。1050728
